Effective September 1, 2005 the Austin County Appraisal Distict will no longer display improvement sketches of residential property. In accordance with Senate Bill 541, as passed by the Texas Legislature, information in appraisal records may not be posted on the Internet if the information is a photograph, sketch, or floor plan of an improvement to real property that is designed for use as a human residence. However, this information will still be available for viewing at the appraisal district office, located at 906 E. Amelia St., Bellville, Texas during normal business hours. |
